Bensalem Twp First Responders Greet Students on First Day of School

Credit: Bensalem School District

The Bensalem Township Department of Public Safety has a proud tradition of interacting with students each year on the first day of school and continued the tradition this week as township schools opened their doors for the first full days of classes this week.

Members of the Bensalem Township Police and Fire Departments greeted students last week as they arrived for their first day of the 2024-2025 school year.  Officers and firefighters high-fived and welcomed students at our high school, middle schools, elementary schools, parochial schools, and charter schools throughout the week.

Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and Director William McVey express their thanks to the officers and firefighters who participated this year and wish the students, teachers, and staff a safe and happy school year.
