Bucks Libraries Extend Closure, Offer Resources for Kids & Families

Submitted

Bucks County Free Libraries extended their closure earlier this week per Governor Tom Wolf’s order.

Officials said all  branches will be closed through April 30, and book due dates have been extended with fine accrual suspended also.

Please do not return your materials until your library reopens as many book drops are closed.

In addition all library sponsored programs and meeting room bookings are canceled until further notice. This includes group events and individual technology help appointments. Any group that cancels a meeting room booking will be fully refunded.

The library will continue to follow the guidance of local, county, and state governments and the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). As we learn more details we will provide regular updates through our website and social media.

BCFL listed a number of recommendations on how the community can use the resources and services it offers.

How to Use the Library During this Time:

  1. Use our e-library to borrow ebooks, e-audiobooks, and e-magazines and stream music and videos.
