Guiding Good Choices: FREE Parenting & Caregiver Virtual Workshop begins April 28

A free five- week virtual parenting caregiver workshop focusing on children nine to 14 years-old is being offered through Bristol Township and No Longer Bound

The Guiding Good Choices program begins April 28. This five session program is geared towards parents and caregivers with children ages 9 to 14. The online virtual discussion take place from 6 pm  to 8 pm.

Parents completing all five sessions will receive a gift card.

Registration is required. .

The workshops will focus on:

  • Help kids make positive choices
  • Support kids to build resistance skills against substance abuse
  • Strengthen family bonds
  • Reduce family conflict
  • Set clear family rules to keep kids safe
  • Meet other parents
  • Discuss important topics

Families completing the program will earn a gift card.

Week 1: Getting Started: How to Promote Health and Well-being During the Teen Years

Week 2: Setting Guidelines: How to Develop Healthy Beliefs and Clear Standards .

Week 3: Managing Conflict: How to Deal with Anger in a Positive Way.

Week 4: Avoiding Trouble: How to Say No, Keep Your friends, and Still Have Fun.

Week 5: Involving Everyone: How to Strengthen Family Bonds
