Three Lower Bucks School Districts received donated funds recently as a result of their communities rounding up their bills at Giant Company Supermarkets and the company matching donated funds.

Bensalem, Bristol Township, and Morrisville School Districts received the donated funds recently as Giant officials visited with representatives from each of the school districts to present checks.

The program launched earlier this year, running for about one month, in which every time shoppers were ready to pay their bill , they were given the opportunity to round up their total at the register and donate odd change to local school food programs.

Called the Feeding School Kids initiative Giant match donated roundup funds as part of the effort.

Bensalem School District received just under $17 K

Bristol Township School District received just under $25 K
