A Bristol Borough High School athlete signed a letter of intent to attend an area university to pursue his baseball and business major dreams last week.
Cole Guy a 6′ 1 I can play them all utility player of the Bristol Warriors is taking his talents to the Atlantic 10 Conference as he signed a letter of intent Tuesday to begin to attend and play baseball for the LaSalle University Explorers in his climb to someday get to “The Show.”
LaSalle recruited Guy based upon his play during last years Carpenter Cup. The tournament sponsored by Nike seeks to give the best high school players in the tri-state area the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of college scouts.
And under that pressure the Explorers came away so impressed, his father (Trevor) said, the school heavily recruited him into this academic year offering a spot on the team for next fall.

Guy has earned his way into the National Honors Society and was accepted into the LaSalle’s Business School, Bristol High School officials said.
BHS Athletic Director Mike Poploskie, sang high praise for the gifted team captain.
“Cole is a very high character student athlete that puts in a ton of work 12 months out of the year. This dedication provided him with the opportunity to play baseball at LaSalle.”

“This was my first goal. It’s a huge accomplishment for me and my family. I can’t wait to play at the next level in the Atlantic -10. Showing everyone that hard work does pay off.”
