Call her the Hit Queen!

Bristol Borough High School Warriors star outfielder Amirah Bell broke the school’s all-time total career hits record last week by legging out an infield hit which led to an eruption of celebration.

It was her 154th career hit.

The old record was set in 1993 by Kelli Brandt (Rosado)  at 153 hits in 1993.

Bell, the third ranked outfielder statewide, according to The Trentonian, will be taking her lighting fast speed and slash skills to play for Holy Family University Tigers this fall on scholarship where she’ll continue her hitting assault on NCAA Division II softball pitchers.

Then record-breaking hit came in the fourth inning on May 8 in a 11-0 drubbing of Council Rock North, Bristol High Softball Coach David Chichilitti, said.

“Amirah has worked extremely hard over the last four years. This is a goal she set for herself from day one and the coaching staff couldn’t be happier to see her have that moment.”
