School District Employees Paint U.S Flag on Hill in Bristol Borough on 9/11

On a day the nation memorializes the 9/11 attacks in which thousands were killed, employees from the Bristol Borough School District painted the American Flag on the grassy area adjacent to Buckley Street.

The flag was painted on the grounds of Snyder-Girotti Elementary School between Wednesday and Thursday by the school district’s facilities maintenance crew, officials said.

The specific motivation for painting the “Stars and Stripes” on the small hill, in our best guess until told otherwise, is to #NeverForget.

Below is what the grassy hill looked like before it was dressed in red, white and blue!
