Bristol Township School District to Provide Free Meals to Children During the Summer Months

Bristol Township School District provide free meals to children during the summer months it was announced last week. by officials. 

Beginning Monday, June 17, the Bristol Township School District will serve breakfast and lunch daily in Truman High School’s cafeteria.

Meals are offered free of charge to any child 18 years of age or younger.

No application or registration is required. Additionally, children do not need to be enrolled in a Bristol Township school, however, children need to be present to receive the free meals.

The program will operate Monday through Friday through August 23, with the exception of July 4 and 5. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There is a limit of one breakfast and one lunch per child, per day. Meals should be consumed on site.

The United States Department of Agriculture is funding the summer meals program.
