Bristol Township School District students from the Bucks County Intermediate Unit’s transition program were honored by the township at Thursday night’s Council meeting for providing more than 350 hours of service in which 400 boxes of outdated records could be cataloged, then destroyed.

Truman High School Students,  Jayden Knamm, Elizabeth Phillips, Isaac Sandoval, and Keira Ward were honored by the township at last week’s Council meeting for their hundreds of hours of work on the project that enabled the Twp to destroy over 400 boxes of “outdated records.”

Assistant Township Manager Heather Satterly hailed the effort which she said supports the Township’s transition to a paperless workplace.

Working with the Township Manager’s Office, the students helped catalog a long-standing records backlog of outdated records equivalent to about the weight of a school bus, Satterly said.

Satterly also thanked their job coach, Joanne Sobieski, for her guidance and support with getting the project completed.

We are grateful for their hard work and look forward to continuing this partnership in 2026, Satterly said.
