A \longtime Bristol Township resident and former township Park and Recreation Camp Director is going places in the recreation management world; next stop is to lead the Warminster Township Parks and Recreation department it was announced Tuesday
Warminster Twp is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Jai’er Brown as the new Parks and Recreation Operations Manager, officials announced.
In this role, Brown will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and supervising a wide range of recreation and community service programs and events. His duties will also include scheduling athletic fields, pavilions, and event spaces, as well as managing special projects as assigned, said Jessica Fox, Director, Warminster Township Parks and Recreation
A graduate of Kutztown University, Brown brings to Warminster Township a wealth of experience in youth and adult programming, facility management, and community and team building. His background demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering inclusive, engaging recreational opportunities and strengthening community connections, officials noted in a release
“Warminster Township is thrilled to welcome Jai’er to the team,” said Ken Hayes, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.“His professional experience and enthusiasm for community service make him a tremendous asset as we continue to expand and enhance our growing Parks and Recreation Department.”
Brown is familiar face to the children and families of Bristol Township, working in a number of leadership roles over the 9 + years he worked in their rec department. Over that span he served as program director, program coordinator and summer camp director.
Brown resigned his Bristol Twp position recently subsequent to former recreation director Brian Morris leaving his position under murky circumstances which officials said at the time was a isolated move unrelated to any other Bristol Twp Park and Rec staffers.
