No Longer Bound to Open New Community Center, Hold Health Fair

A local non-profit will hold a ribbon cutting and building dedication ceremony honoring its founder this Saturday.

No Longer Bound and the Bucks County Commissioners are hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their newest building, the Martha Miller No Longer Bound Community Center on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

The new building is named in honor of  No Longer Bound’s founder, Martha Miller, who spent several decades serving her community by providing food security, nutrition education, training, and substance use prevention.

This ceremony is open to the public and will run from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a community Easter Egg Hunt to follow at noon.

Designed with the vision of bringing community members together and offering a place where children can feel safe, No Longer Bound provides residents of Bristol Township with access to health and community resources, learning opportunities in a group setting, activities, out of school programming and more.

The community health fair will also be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. which will include Health Screenings, COVID-19 Vaccines, Narcan and community resources.

The fair will take place on the grounds directly in front of the center.

A number of community leaders are expected to attend  including county officials, who helped make this dream a reality, a spokesperson for No Longer Bound said.
