The Falls Township Touch a Truck event has raised more than $100,000 for local charities since it began seven years ago now you can add $30,000 in generous donations, which was split evenly between The Goofy Gators, a Falls Twp -based nonprofit serving the autism community; and The Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation, a charity which provides financial aid to families throughout the Delaware Valley who are in need due to recent tragedy or adversity, officials said Monday.
Spearheaded by Falls Township Supervisor Jeff Boraski and the township’s Parks and Recreation department, Touch a Truck offers a unique opportunity for children to learn more about how the various vehicles on display serve as first response, construction, electrical, farming, manufacturing and more.
