Are the antique treasures in your home valuable? Find out at Fallsington Library’s inaugural antique appraisal fundraiser on June 7 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Pineville-based Locati Auction House will be conducting the appraisals during the event, which will be held in the library’s second floor community hall. Michael Locati of Locati LLC will kick off the program with a short discussion on current trends in antiques and their values.
Locati operates a “boutique auction house with a proven global reach.”
Fallsington Library board member John Lopuszanski devised the out-of-the-box fundraising idea after seeing success with similar events held at other nonprofit organizations.
Fallsington Library Director Charlene Rendeiro hopes to raise $1,400 or more from the fundraiser, which will assist the library in providing free family programs and services.
Following his presentation, Locati will appraise up to 40 items (no collectibles such as stamps, coins, sports cards, or jewelry).
All event proceeds will benefit Fallsington Library.
