The staff at Morrisville Library is inviting the community to participate in their myriad of activities during their summer reading program.
The library is located at 300 N. Pennsylvania Avenue in Morrisville. Several activities are planned and will take place in their Community Room (Basement). There is something for everyone.
Animal Traveling Show – July 10th – Preschoolers – 11 am and School Age children – 11:30 am
The Barn Nature Center offers interactive animal presentations tailored to a variety of educational themes, including Predator and Prey, Food Webs, and Conservation Curiosity. These sessions provide close encounters with live animal ambassadors and are popular with both children and families. . Registration required – call the library at 215.295.4850 or come in person. Morrisville Rocks – June 25th-August 6th every other week, 5 pm – 6 pm
Community members have donated art supplies. A biweekly community rock painting program offers a low cost, inclusive way to bring people together at the library in a relaxed, creative environment. Rock painting encourages artistic expression and mindfulness, while also promoting social interaction across generations. Participants can contribute to community art projects such as a kindness rock garden or can take their creations home as personal keepsakes or gifts.
