Bensalem School District Announces Free Summer Meal Dates

Bensalem township school district announced it’s annual free summer meals for children program Tuesday.  The program is open to children 1-18 years, and no applications are necessary for kids to participate in the program. Along with the program is the new “Owls on the Go summer Lunch Bus”, a Bus that will travel to neighborhoods delivering meals to those who need it.

Schedule:

Belmont, Faust, Rush & Struble elementary schools (meals in the cafeteria) from 6/20 to 8/11:  Monday-Thursday. Breakfast 8:30am-9:45am, Lunch 11am-12:30pm

Cornwells Elementary & Snyder Middle School (meals in Cafeteria) 7/5 to 8/4 Monday-Thursday. Breakfast 8am to 9:30am, Lunch 11am to 1pm.

Bensalem High School (meals in the cafeteria) 6/20 to 8/11 Monday-Thursday. Breakfast 7:30am to 8:30am, lunch 11pm to 1pm

Just Children (2607 Interplex Drive, Feasterville-Trevose) 6/20 to 8/12 Monday-Friday. Breakfast 7:30am to 8:30am, Lunch 12pm to 1pm

Teddy Bear College, Bensalem, 6/20 to 8/12 Monday-Friday. Breakfast 9am to 10am, Lunch 12pm to 1pm.

Silver Lake Nature Center, Bristol, 6/20 to 8/12, Monday-Friday. Lunch 12pm to 1pm.

The Owls on the GO summer Bus schedule: 6/20 to 8/11 Monday-Thursday. The bus will be at each stop for 30 minutes serving meals for the first 20 minutes. Children must eat in the air conditioned bus.

Bus #1: 10:15am Salem Crossing off street road, 10:50am Townhomes @ Gateway, Richelieu Road Entrance, 11:30am Valley Elementary School-Parking Lot Playground, 12:10pm Intersection of Boston and Spruce Avenues, 12:50pm Penn Valley Terrace.

Bus #2: 10:20am Riverview Crossing-Bristol Pike, 11am Hunter’s Creek Apartments, 11:40am Franklin Commons Apartments, Bobolink drive by pool, 12:15pm Hidden Valley, Cowcross road by Euston & Maltese Court, 12:50pm Intersection of Portside & Leeward Drive.
