Bitter cold is settling into Lower Bucks County Tuesday morning, after a weekend of snow blanketed the area.
The National Weather Services says a cold wind will bring chills that could bring temperatures hitting as low as 5 degrees below zero in the Lower Bucks region. The NWS advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. due to freezing temperatures.
Officials said work crews have been working to de-ice the roadways but there remains areas where standing water has re-frozen overnight.
Expect icy conditions on roadway this morning officials said.
A Code Blue remains in effect in the area until Wednesday morning.
