Giant Expands Waffles Recall Due to Listeria Concerns

 The GIANT Company has expanded its recall of GIANT and MARTIN’S brand frozen waffles after being alerted by supplier, Treehouse Foods, of potential contamination with Listeria.

The following products are included in the expanded recall today (Oct. 24, 2024):

  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Gluten Free Homestyle Waffles, 11.3 oz., UPC 068826756276, All Lots/All Codes
  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Gluten Free Blueberry Waffles, 11.3 oz., UPC 068826756275, All Lots/All Codes

The following products were included in the previous recall six days ago

  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Homestyle Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707392, All Lots/All Codes
  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Buttermilk Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707396, All Lots/All Codes
  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Blueberry Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707394, All Lots/All Codes
  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Chocolate Chip Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826707398, All Lots/All Codes
  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Multigrain Waffles, 12.3 oz., UPC 068826708195, All Lots/All Codes
  • GIANT/MARTIN’S Chocolate Chip Waffles, 29.6 oz., UPC 068826715002, All Lots/All Codes

Customers who purchased an impacted product should discard it and contact Customer Service for a full refund. Because this is a frozen product, The GIANT Company encourages customers to check their freezers carefully for impacted items. If a customer feels they are experiencing illness as a result of a product they consumed, they should contact their health care provider.
