GIANT helping to “Fill A Plate” Combatting Local Hunger Ahead of Holiday Season

As part of its ongoing Eliminating Hunger initiatives, The GIANT Company is helping to combat local hunger ahead of the busy holiday season. Until October.29, customers can participate in Fill a Plate, a non-perishable food drive to benefit local food banks and pantries by dropping off items at their local GIANT store.

Suggested non-perishable donated items include canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna and chicken, cereal, granola bars, macaroni and cheese, and related items. Donation bins can be found at the front of each store near customer service.+
