Medication Take Back Day is Saturday

Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commision announced this Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. is Medication Take Back Day.

According to the commission:

  • Take Back Day is a bi-annual event that provides community members with a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of unused, unneeded, or expired medications
  • Collections occur to protect children, pets, homes, and the environment. If you have unused or expired medications, vaping products, vitamins, sharps, or pet medications, this is the time to dispose of them.
  • There are 48 public collection sites throughout the county. Click here for location sites and what’s accepted.
  • If unable to make it to the event, there are permanent collection boxes throughout Bucks County where you can still safely dispose of your medications. Find a box near you.
