The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect on Friday.

The warning for Bucks County is in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, Friday, November 8th.

The winds will be from the west at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. The relative humidity is as low as 29 percent.

Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly due to a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain.
