NOVA, Bucks County’s comprehensive crime victim services agency, recently held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at Giuseppe’s Pizza and Family Restaurant in Warminster. More than 70 volunteers were honored for their service by NOVA board and staff members
NOVA’s volunteers provide valuable assistance in supporting victims of crime and working to end violence. Over 200 volunteers help with tasks such as, answering the 24/7 Helpline, working at the NOVA Thrift Shop, staffing special events, serving on the NOVA Board, and providing administrative and committee support.
This year, six volunteers received special honors for reaching milestone anniversaries of service to NOVA:

“Our volunteers are amazing and we are so appreciative of them for their dedication to our mission and for donating their time and talents,” said Julie Dugery, Volunteer and Community Outreach Coordinator at NOVA. “The Volunteer Appreciation Dinner gives us a chance to say ‘Thank you’ and honor them for the many hours they have dedicated in service to NOVA over the past year.”
