State-of-the-Art 3D Mammography Technology
At Lower Bucks Hospital, our Radiology Department features a highly experienced team dedicated to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients.
3D mammograms are advantageous for nearly all women, particularly those with dense breast tissue, which is characterized by a higher ratio of fibrous or glandular tissue compared to fat. Women with dense breasts may benefit from additional imaging modalities, such as ultrasound or MRI. For individuals at a higher risk of developing breast cancer, a breast MRI may be recommended in addition to the mammogram. Ultrasound can also serve as a valuable supplemental tool for enhanced evaluation.
