Submitted:

The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced 13 more individuals  have tested positive bringing the total number to 76 of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the state.

The additional cases  are reported to be in:  Allegheny County (2), Bucks (1) Montgomery (6) Monroe (2) and Philadelphia (2) Counties as of 12:15 p.m Monday.

As of this morning, there are 670 patients who have tested negative either at the state public health lab, a commercial lab or a hospital laboratory, state officials said.

“While we anticipate that there will be more Pennsylvanians with COVID-19 in the coming days and weeks, it is important for residents to know the commonwealth is prepared and to be prepared themselves,” Dept of Health Sec, Dr. Levine said. “Right now, you have a higher chance of testing positive for COVID-19 if you have traveled to a country or state with known community outbreaks or have come in contact with someone who has the virus. We are working with the health care community across Pennsylvania to keep them informed, consult on patient testing and ensuring they have the resources they need to care for patients.”

The news comes on the heels of fast and furious pace of reports and responses to the pandemic, by federal, state, and local officials

Governor Wolf on Sunday ordered bars and restaurants closed directing order our and drive through services.

Monday will also be the last day state wine and liquor stores will be open too, Penn DOT closed Bucks County Driver License  and Photo License Centers Monday also.
