The Fairless Hills YMCA of Bucks County over the weekend announced the date for its grand reopening and is welcoming the public to the ribbon cutting ceremonies.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 14 from 1 pm to 2 pm and you can register to attend through this link

Work on the site has been progressing since the project was re-imagined by Y officials in June of 2020 due to costs.

Last fall, YMCA of Bucks County Chief Marketing Officer, Amanda Wappes  said  plans were in the works for the Fairless Hills Y’s relaunch eyeing March.

At this time, we are planning for a mid-March completion, she said.

As part of the site’s re-launch, a membership information office at St. Frances Cabrini at 325 South Oxford Valley Road has been opened

Locals can speak with staff about branch amenities and new improvements and find out about special early membership savings, said Y officials.

The cost of the project comes in at $12 million, according to Y officials said in 2021.
