Shoppers eagerly visited the newly opened Fairless Hills’ Grocery Outlet on Thursday and if the turnout is any indication, the store is set for success.
Doors opened at 8 a.m., and the morning was bustling with customers, Ashley Hinds, wife of owner Andy, mentioned that the store had been so busy that the line stretched to the back. While shopping slowed down a bit, the store remained lively and full of shoppers and it remained that way the morning after their grand opening, officials said.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 11 a.m. in front of the store, where local, county, and state officials gave Grocery Outlet a warm welcome to Falls Township. They shared their gifts and offered their best wishes for the store’s success. Speakers included Chief Nelson Whitney of the Falls Township Police and the Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce, who presented the Hinds with a membership certification. In addition, state Senator Steve Santarsiero and Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick were represented. Fitzpatrick sent a flag that once flew over the Capitol as a gift to the Hinds family.
The ceremony included a partnership between Fairless Hills-Grocery Outlet and Family Services Association of Bucks County. Anne Marie Richards and Jacob Chow represented Family Services and were presented with a generous $1,000 donation by the Hinds family in recognition of their community partnership.
The Hinds and Grocery Outlet are excited to show their gratitude to the community that has warmly welcomed them. They are giving back to customers, military personnel, and their community food pantry partner, Family Services. Current events include the Independence from Hunger campaign for Family Services, a savings card for the military, and a sweepstakes for their customers.
The Hinds moved to Lower Bucks from California to open the outlet. Andy, Ashley, and their 11-year-old daughter, Avery, along with their three dogs—Lucy (9), Bailey (7), and Turtle (3)—drove over 20,000 miles. They now live in the Feasterville area.
Fairless Hills-Grocery Outlet is located at 510 Lincoln Highway in Fairless Hills between Big Lots which reopened on June 5, 2025 and RetroFitness Gym. The market opens every day at 8 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m.
