Giant Food Store in the Levittown section of Bristol Township

The GIANT Company, announced COVID-19 vaccines are now available at all GIANT  in-store pharmacies.

GIANT pharmacists are trusted health resources within their local communities,” said Nick Koch, director of pharmacy and wellbeing, The GIANT Company. “Pharmacists are available to review vaccination status with patients, provide vaccine education, administer COVID-19 vaccines to eligible patients, and help patients understand their vaccination options and current recommendations.”

COVID-19 vaccines are administered by immunizing GIANT pharmacists and specially trained pharmacy team members, subject to state regulations. Individuals can receive the updated vaccines if it has been at least two months since their last COVID-19 vaccine dose.

In Pennsylvania, vaccines are available for patients ages 5 and above, and ages 3 and above in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. For minors, parental or legal guardian consent is required.

Walk-in vaccinations are available, but customers can save time by booking an appointment online at giantfoodstores.com/pages/tgc-vaccines or martinsfoods.com/pages/tgc-vaccines. Customers should bring their prescription insurance card, if applicable, and speak with a pharmacist to determine vaccine eligibility and availability. Coverage and copays vary by plan. See your insurance plan for details.

GIANT pharmacies also offer more than a dozen vaccinations including those for flu, pneumonia and the MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccinations. Pharmacists are available to discuss vaccination eligibility requirements, which vary by location and are subject to state regulations. To find the nearest GIANT  pharmacy, visit the GIANT website or download the free GIANT  Pharmacy App.
