Lower Makefield Twp. Opens Comfort Station During Power Outage

Lower Makefield Township residents without power are welcome to use our Community Center located at 1550 Oxford Valley Road.

The Community Center will be open on Thursday between the hours of 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Friday between 7 A.M. until 8 P.M.

Residents using the community Center must abide by CDC Covid-19 guidelines.  It will be mandatory for those coming to the Center to bring and wear a mask.

Township officials are working with PECO to restore power as soon as possible.

Thousands are still without power throughout the Lower Bucks area after Wednesday’s powerful thunderstorms brought trees and power lines down.

PECO has deployed work crews throughout the area to address the outages based on a priority process.
