The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors announced on Thursday parks and playgrounds are now open.

After one week of being in the “yellow phase” of reopening and as active COVID-19 cases continue to trend downward, the Board of Supervisors said in a release.

Visitors and their children are encouraged to practice social distancing out of respect for others. Frequent hand washing and hand sanitizing should be practiced before and after children play, officials said.
