Morrisville Borough Council Appoints Junior Councilperson

At Monday nights Morrisville Borough Council meeting, Victoria Sullivan was sworn in as Junior Councilperson.

Sullivan, officials say will serve in the volunteer position for the remainder of the academic year.

Sullivan was sworn in by Council President Debbie Smith and was joined by her family for this special occasion.

After being sworn in, Sullivan thanked “everyone who made this possible saying she was really excited about taking the junior councilwoman’s position.

In a moment of council meeting levity she was given the night off and is expected to begin her duties in January.
