The Warminster Food Bank announced that they recently received generous donations from local organizations:
- The Cowhey Family ShopRite Supermarket of Warminster donated $10,000. The check was presented by owner Deborah Cowhey and store manager Mike Costello.
- Northampton Day Committee donated $4,000. The check was presented by Christine Bishop, Northampton Day volunteer and volunteer at the food bank, on behalf of Steve Bryer, the head of the Northampton Day Committee.
- Tri-State Corvette Association donated $500. The check was presented by Kathy Beresford, Secretary of the Tri-State Corvette Association.
Many families are struggling, even after the federal government restored Supplement Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Not to mention, they are now dealing with the added expenses that come during the holiday season. These donations will provide funds to bridge the gap for individuals at a time when it is most needed.
“I believe that no one should go hungry, especially during times of hardship,” said Deborah Cowhey, Owner/Operator, Cowhey Family ShopRite of Warminster. “Supporting our local food bank with this donation is my way of helping families in our community access the nourishment they need. It’s important that people can live with dignity and never have to make impossible choices, like whether to feed their families, pay bills, or go hungry. Together, we can make a real difference.”

“Our members share a common goal of enjoying each other’s camaraderie and understanding that we can make a profound difference in our community,” added Chuck Greenberg, President, Tri-State Corvette Association. “All of us at the Tri-State Corvette Association couldn’t think of a more deserving organization, such as the Warminster Food Bank.”
