The Zlock Performing Arts Center at Bucks County Community College (BCCC) is holding a special screening of “Ask Me About My Hero,” a powerful new documentary about Gold Star families presented by American Veterans Media.

The event is open to the public and will be on Sunday, February 18th starting at 7 p.m. All veterans and their families are invited to this screening, according to a Facebook post by the Salute2Service group.

The film is directed by Shawn Swords and is the latest installment in American Veteran’s Media’s The Wages of War Documentary Film Series.

The movie explores the profound significance and history of Gold Star Families – those who have lost an immediate family member in military service. It delves into the long-term impact and collateral damage these families face, examining the role of support groups, memorials, monuments, testimonials, and tributes in their healing process. A moving and insightful look at the sacrifices and resilience of these families.

This is a must-see for anyone who wants to understand the true cost of service and honor the memory of our fallen heroes.
