The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will be performing utility construction this week on Gibson Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Gibson Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Bensalem Boulevard and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will complete this improvement project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
