Bensalem’s Amazon Fresh had their grand opening at 7:45 this morning and is now open to the public.

Today, August 22, we are excited to announce the new Amazon Fresh in Bensalem, Pennsylvania is now open to the public. The Bensalem location is the third Amazon Fresh store in Pennsylvania. This new, affordable grocery store in the community offers a wide selection of quality groceries and a convenient shopping experience. We’re also proud to support the community by creating dozens of jobs in the local Bensalem area and by donating surplus food from the Amazon Fresh store to Philabundance.

The Amazon Fresh store in Bensalem features the company’s latest brick-and-mortar design unveiled last year in Chicago and Southern California. Customers can expect to find a wide selection of national brands, high-quality produce and protein, as well as Amazon’s private label brands like Aplenty, Amazon Fresh, and 365 by Whole Foods Market—all at great low prices.
What sets Amazon Fresh apart is its ability to merge the convenience of online grocery shopping with an elevated in-store experience. Customers can take advantage of fast grocery delivery and pickup options, while also enjoying ways to make grocery shopping in store more convenient, like the Amazon Dash Cart and Amazon One.

GRAND OPENING on Thursday, August 22, at Amazon Fresh Store in Bensalem
- Time: Pre-Ribbon Cutting Festivities begin at 7:45am. Doors will open at 8:00am on Thursday, August 22.
- Celebration: To kick of the Grand Opening, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with remarks provided by Amazon Fresh Store Manager Kaycee Sunga, and other community leaders. Once doors open at 8am, the first customer in line on Thursday will receive a $100 Amazon gift card. The next 99 customers in line will receive either a $5, $10, or $15 Amazon gift card. Customers at the grand opening celebration will also get to take home an exclusive Bensalem tote bag (limited quantity) and sample a variety of products from the store. The festivities will run from 8:00am until 7:00pm, and will include fun activities for kids such face painting, games, and more.
- Community Partnership: Philabundance will be on site for a check presentation from the Amazon Fresh store team. Customers can also participate in a live food drive.
