In a wrap-up of Week 11 NFL games, Kansas City Chiefs suffers their first loss in the 2024-2025 season, the Jets almost win, and a miracle -the Giants did not lose- they can thank the bye week for that.
Chiefs were on their path to a perfect regular season until they met up with the Buffalo Bills in Week 11 and lost with the final score being Buffalo Bills 30, Kansas City Chiefs 21. For the first time since Christmas Day 2023, Kansas City came up short and had not allowed 28-plus points in a regular-season game since Week 4, 2022, at Tampa Bay. Even with the loss, the Chiefs kept the AFC #1 spot with a record of 9-1 ahead of the Bills and Steelers, both with two losses.
After Thursday night’s NFC East game, the game ended with Philadelphia Eagles 26, Washington Commanders 18. Lately, the Commanders are anything but commanding, especially after allowing the Eagles to score 20 points in the fourth quarter. Following the loss, Washington slips to seventh place in the NFC playoff picture, and the Eagles hold the top spot in the NFC East. As always, Jalen started the game in slow motion. As kicker Jake Elliot, who is known for his reliability, didn’t deliver as expected, it didn’t look good for the Eagles. After missing his first two field goal attempts, he missed an extra point as well. It was not until the fourth quarter, when Eagle fans could breathe easy, as the team realized they were on a football field and needed to perform.
Let’s take a look at the Indianapolis Colts 28, New York Jets 27 game, where the Jets almost won. Jets leading 28-22 with little over a minute left in the game and turning into a wild ending to the game. On a 3rd and goal, Colts QB Anthony Richardson in his comeback, runs in for a TD,putting the Colts up 28-27, but they could not make the two-point. With 46 seconds left in the game and no timeouts, the Jets comeback was in the hands of Aaron Rodgers. Jets started out on a 30 yard line due to a touchback by the Colts. On the first play, a defensive delay of game penalty and then the ending of the game was a QB sack making the Jets fall to 3-6.
