Velez is a multi-talented artist from Bucks County, Pennsylvania who composes the lyrics and music, as well as the arrangement and orchestration, and co-produced the recording of her first EP with her Technical Producer, the multi-talented Rory Miller, with single “Earth and Water” Mastered by Greg Calbi and Steven Fallone of Sterling Sound in New Jersey, who have worked with many talented artists, including Bob Dylan, MGMT, Taylor Swift, Foster The People, Wallows, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Kacey Musgraves.
Within the tracks on this EP she joins together dreamy chord progressions with powerful imagery, embedding impactful messages into each song.
Velez is also incredibly talented and proficient with a variety of musical instruments, including the acoustic and electric guitar, keyboards and her multi-octave vocal talents leave the listener yearning to hear more.
The release of “EDEN” will be Julia’s second EP, following “Old Hollywood”, composed of tracks “This Feels Raw”; “Past Lives”; “Billabong”; “Nostalgic”; “Mind Your Mouth”; and the title track, “Old Hollywood”. This EP, as well as singles “The Original Barbie”, “Superficial”, “No Sincerity”, and “This Feels Raw” are available on all streaming platforms and downloading services.
