Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office Warns of Deceptive Mailers

Bucks County residents are being warned about deceptive mailings related to property deeds.

Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Robin Robinson’s office said companies are sending official-looking notices to people who have recently purchased property.

“Have you recently purchased a property, or changed your deed in any way? Be alerted that you may receive a letter in the mail that offers to send you a copy of your deed for a fee of over $100. This company is not  affiliated with the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds office,” a spokesperson said.

If you need a copy of your deed, please call the Recorder of Deeds (ROD) office at 215-348-6209. Official copies are  available directly through the ROD for less than $10
