The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various construction activities are scheduled in April on Langhorne-Yardley Road, Woodbourne Road, and Ellis Road under a $10.9 million project to improve traffic congestion and safety on Langhorne-Yardley Road at the Bridgetown Pike and Woodbourne Road intersections in Middletown Township.
Drivers are advised that a periodic weekday lane closure with flagging will be in place on Wednesday, April 1, through Thursday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:
- Langhorne-Yardley Road between Bridgetown Pike and Briggs Road.
- Woodbourne Road between Kilburn Road and the entrance to Core Creek Park.
- Ellis Road between Fulling Mill Road and Woodbourne Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when travelling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
