The Philadelphia Eagles and their fans will culminate a week of celebration with up to 1 million fans flocking to the city for the Super Bowl champions’ parade that will begin at Lincoln Financial Field at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue on Friday at 11 a.m. officials said, for a Valentine’s Day love fest and affair.
From 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m., players, coaches, and officials will prepare to descend the “Rocky” steps of the art museum. A “formal program” will begin at 1 p.m., the city said. Ceremonial speeches are expected to begin at 2 p.m. and end at 3 p.m., officials said.
The procession will kick off at Broad St. and Pattison Ave. outside Lincoln Financial Field and travel northbound on Broad St. towards City Hall before continuing onto Ben Franklin Parkway and ending at the Philadelphia Art Museum.
Many area school districts announced closings earlier this week so students can attend the Eagles’ second Super Bowl title in seven years.
SEPTA announced service adjustments across all of its modes as large crowds combined with road closures are expected PennDOT officials said.
• Market-Frankford Line [L] and Broad Street Line [B] will be your best bets for getting in and out of the parade route. Both lines will run every 6-8 minutes starting at 5 a.m., officials said.
• Free Rides: Thanks to Gran Coramino, the official luxury tequila partner of the Eagles, you can enjoy free rides on both lines throughout the day! This makes travel easier and helps with safety and crowd flow.

Only a limited number of stations will be open to help move the crowds safely. Whether fans are coming to the city to celebrate or just going about your normal workday, officials say to please plan ahead.
PennDOT announced today ramp closures beginning at 6 am and ending at 6 pm on I -676 .
During the parade and celebration, motorists are also advised that the ramp from eastbound I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to Spring Garden Street will be available for right turns only.
