Will the Eagles be one and done? Will the Eagles move on through the playoffs? Have the Eagles been ‘playing possum’ as some think and will they come out like gangbusters in the playoffs?
Got so many questions to be answered. Let’s talk some football before, during and after the game!!
Eagles will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today January 15th. Kick-off is at 8:15 p.m. in Tampa Bay.
The Eagles final injury report shows WR A.J. Brown and Safety Sydney Brown sitting out this game, according to NFL.com, with knee injuries. Questionable is Safety – Reed Blankenship with a groin injury. Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith, D’Andre Swift, Darius Slay, and Britain Covey are all listed without game statuses. They’re ready to play!
Mike Greene, DL for Tampa Bay is out this game. The Bucs also have three questionable players – QB Baker Mayfield with injuries of the ankle and ribs (although it is expected he will be at the helm), LB K.J. Britt (calf), and CB Josh Hayes with quad and knee injuries, NFL.com says.
Marching into December with a 10-1 record, Eagles proceeded to lose five of their last six games. Sitting on top of the league had the number one position in the league, they spiraled down to number five and a wild card spot. Can they march through the playoffs and proceed to silence the doubtful? If Eagles (and I say a BIG if), what’s your thoughts on the coaching staff, mainly big Nick?
Don’t forget to post in comments your thoughts before, during and after the game.
