The 2024 Super Wild Card Weekend ended with a one-and-done final game for six teams who gained renewed vigor as the weekend approached, but, in the end, it was time for those teams to go home and lick their wounds.

On Saturday, January 11, the Houston Texans, winning the WC game 32-12, sent the Los Angeles Chargers home for the season. The Texans play the Kansas City Chiefs on KC’s home field this Saturday at 4:30pm.
That night, the Pittsburgh Steelers could not break their four-game losing streak when they faced the Baltimore Ravens in their wild card matchup. The Ravens cruised to a 28-14 over the Steelers. The Ravens travel to Buffalo for a Sunday, January 19th matchup at 6:30pm.
The Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills met up to start the wild card games on Sunday, January 12. This game was not even close with the Bills stampeding over the Broncos with a score of 31-7. The Bills host the Ravens on Sunday at 6:30pm.
It wasn’t the prettiest of games but the Eagles with the help of turnovers by Green Bay went on to win 22-10 at the Linc. A win is a win and the Eagles will host the Los Angeles Rams at the Linc. Game Time is Sunday, January 19 at 3pm.
What a way to end Sunday night games, when the Washington Commanders hit a field goal to win the game 23-20 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs tied the Washington Commanders with a little over 3 minutes left in the game, but in the end it was Washington who moves on and travels to Detroit this Saturday, January 18 for the Divisional Playoff. Game Time 8pm.
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Minnesota Vikings 27-9 in Monday night’s wild card clash. Where was Sam Darnold who looked a bit lost in the game? He was sacked nine times and had two turnovers in the Monday night game. Not a good finish when he was on fire during 17 regular seasons. The Rams face off against the Eagles on Sunday at 3pm.

On Saturday, January 18, the AFC will match up the fourth-seed Houston Texans and the first-seed Kansas City Chiefs at 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC, ESPN+, and ESPN Deportes. For the NFC, the sixth place Washington Commanders plays the first time ever number one seed Detroit Lions at 8 p.m. ET on FOX and FOX Deportes.
On Sunday, January 19, the NFC will showcase the Rams coming to the Linc and facing the Eagles at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, Peacock, Telemundo, and Universo. The third-seed Baltimore Ravens visits Buffalo to go up against the Bills at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
The winner of the divisional games will advance to the Conference Playoffs on Sunday, January 26.
