The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced PennDOT maintenance crews will be working on more than 30 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia region.
The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
PennDOT would like to remind motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center by visiting www.customercare.penndot.pa.gov. To date, since January 1, 2025, District 6 has received over 4,600 customer concerns regarding potholes.
Motorists are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes at the following locations:
Bucks County
- Bristol Road, Bensalem Township.
- Furlong Road, Buckingham Township.
