Falls, Middletown Police Join Forces for with ‘Shop With a Cop’ Effort

Christmas is the time of giving. The Middletown Police Department’s ‘Shop With a Cop’ program started in 2016 with 38 children and increased to 350+ children in 2022.

Unlike years past, disadvantaged children who live in Falls Township constitute almost a third of the current applications to participate in the annual Middletown Township Police Department’s ‘Shop With A Cop’ program.

In response, Falls Township officers volunteered to assist Middletown Township police and other surrounding law enforcement officers on Saturday, December 9, at Target in Langhorne, said officials.

The Falls Township Police Department is appealing to anyone with the financial means to donate to the program and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who truly need it the most.
