Fallsington Library Hosting a Fall Concert Fundraiser Featuring Fiddlehead String Quartet

Submitted: Fallsington Library

Following two successful annual galas that featured rousing performances from the Fiddlehead String Quartet on the Fallsington Library’s second-floor stage, the library is once again opening its doors and inviting patrons and community members alike to its Fall Concert Fundraiser.

The fundraising event is scheduled for October 25 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and aims to contribute to Fallsington Library’s programming, which includes year-round fun, hands-on STEAM programs, an immersive summer activity, reading program and a monthly train club.  Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Tickets are available at the Fallsington Library, 139 Yardley Ave., Fallsington. Online auction items will be available for bids beginning on Fallsington Day, Oct. 11, at 8:30 a.m. Bidding concludes on Oct. 25 at 8:30 p.m. Click here for bidding in the online auction.

The popular Fiddlehead String Quartet returns for the night of fun and fundraising. Attendees can enjoy an hour-long concert, followed by refreshments, games, as well as a finale to the online auction, which will feature more than dozen items.

Items available for bid include handmade pottery, jewelry, vintage décor, musical instruments, a gift card for Parx Casino VIP night out, a four-pack of admission tickets for Moravian Pottery and Tileworks, two tickets for the Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Keswick Theater, Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve family membership, Shady Brook Farm gift cards, tickets for Smoke & Mirrors magic theater, Longwood Gardens passes, restaurant gift cards and more.

“Fancy dress is optional, but encouraged,” Fallsington Library Executive Director Charlene Rendeiro said. “The theme is upstage the bride (of Frankenstein).”

New and old friends alike enjoy themselves at the library as part of the gala. Previous events have raised a combined $13,000.

If you’re interested in sponsoring the event, please email Fallsington Library Executive Director Charlene Rendeiro at rendeiroc@buckslib.org.

The Fallsington Library Company was founded in 1800 and incorporated in 1802. In 1879, the nonprofit organization moved into its Federalist-style building located at 139 Yardley Ave. The second floor served as a community hall, hosting concerts, plays, dances, meetings, and even gym classes for the Pennsbury School. The library continues to proudly serve Fallsington and surrounding communities. A full-service lending library, it also presents interactive family programming, and provides meeting space for the public in its historic building. The library’s affiliation with the Bucks County Free Library provides patrons full access to the entire BCFL catalog. Click here for more information
