A Churchville man stands accused of killing his parents and sister who were found slayed inside a Northampton Township home Monday.

Kevin Castiglia, 55, is charged with three counts of homicide, with misdemeanor counts each of corpse abuse,  terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, simple assault and reckless endangerment.

District Judge Brian M. Marriott arraigned Castiglia, on the charges 5 p.m. Tuesday evening and was denied bail due to the nature of the charges with the suspect remanded to the custody of  Bucks County Jail. Sources told Lower Bucks Source early Wednesday Castiglia is currently on suicide by watch at the jail.

According to the criminal complaint, The boyfriend of Castiglia’s sister told police he had not heard from his girlfriend since Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026. The boyfriend visited his girlfriend’s home in Doylestown on Sunday, Jan. 25, but didn’t see her or her car.

The boyfriend, investigators said, drove to the home of his girlfriend’s parents on Heather Road in Northampton Township, Sunday at around 6:30 p.m. He told investigators  he saw his girlfriend’s car in the driveway of the Heather Rd home.  He subsequently  banged on the door of the home getting no response and noted the lights were off, according to the criminal complaint.

He then left the home.

The boyfriend told Castiglia  he wanted to talk to his sister, Castiglia said she wasn’t at the home and was likely on vacation, according to the criminal complaint.

Castiglia allegedly told the man, according to court papers. “Don’t ever come here again or I will kill you,” and pointed a large knife at him. The man described Castiglia’s knife as a large “Psycho” type of chef’s knife.

The boyfriend left the premises and called 911.

The initial dispatch to the home was for a psychiatric emergency.

Northampton authorities arrived on scene, knocked on the door of the home getting no response and then obtained and called a phone number inside the home, which Castiglia did not answer police said.  Police called out to Castiglia.
