LWV of Bucks to Host Democratic Primary Candidate Forum for PA 1 Congressional District

The League of Women Voters of Bucks County is pleased to announce a candidate forum for the Democratic primary for PA’s 1st Congressional District to be held on Monday, April 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. The forum will be held at Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 East Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA. Candidates participating include Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie, of Falls Township and Lucia Simonelli, from Quakertown. 

The League is honored to host a forum to help the candidates get their message out and to help voters make informed electoral decisions by bringing their questions about issues to the event. The League will also provide a livestream and recording of the panel discussion.  A trained moderator, who resides outside the 1st Congressional District, will moderate be the moderator.

The deadline to register to vote in the Tuesday, May 19, 2026, primary election is Monday, May 4, 2026.  Register to vote: register.votespa.com.  Voters registered as Democrat or Republican can vote in the primary election.  Learn more about all the candidates in the primary election: Vote411.org.
