More Construction Planned at Night on I-95 in NE Philadelphia

PennDOT announced various construction activities will occur on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia under the $355.3 million I-95 Section BR3 project to widen and reconstruct northbound I-95 between Wheatsheaf Lane to just north of Margaret Street.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, November 10, through Friday, November 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the following morning, lane closures will be in place on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchanges for bridge repair, barrier installation, and to adjust travel lanes.

Motorists are reminded that the ramp from Aramingo Avenue at the Bridge Street Interchange to I-95 south remains closed until Friday, November 21, for ramp construction.
