Election day is tomorrow, and the NAACP of Bucks County wants to make sure everyone registered to vote does so Tuesday so they have partnered with ride share company to offer discounted rides to the polls
If you need a ride to the polls, the NAACP can help.
“At NAACP Bucks County, we believe in the power of every voice to drive social change. That’s why we’re making it easier for you to get to the polls this election season” officials said.
To book your ride with Lyft to vote, using our special promo code, and enjoy $20 off each ride (up to $40 total for one ride to the polls and one ride back).
NAACP officials are reminding voters when at the polls Tuesday:
Stay in line! If you are in line by 8 p.m., you cannot be turned away.
You have the right to vote provisional if your right to vote is challenged by poll workers.
Identification is not needed unless you are a first-time voter or voting for the first time due to change of address.
If you requested a mail-in ballot but have not received it, you can vote by provisional ballot at your polling place.
Check your voter status and verify your polling place ahead of time.
Explore your ballot and research Candidates before you go to vote.
Accessible voting options and language supports are available.
Report any polling issues or voter rule violations to the Judge of Elections at the County Election Office or by calling 1-877-VOTESPA.
Refer to the Pennsylvania government voting FAQ sheet for any additional question you might have.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Together, we can make sure that our voices are heard! Spread the word and bring a friend.
“When voting in person to Vote down the entire ballot,” President Karen Downer said
“We cannot affect change if we do not vote for US Congress, PA Senate and our local county seats as well as the President!”
