National Weather Service Elevates Lower Bucks to a Winter Storm Warning

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Warning as of 8:00 p.m. for Lower Bucks County beginning late tonight, February 12, 2024 through Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

Their forecast as of now is that precipitation will begin as rain late tonight, then changing to mainly snow. The changeover to snow will possibly occur around 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Snow will impact the Tuesday morning commute with snowfall rates of 0.5” to 1” per hour are possible.

While accumulations are expected to be relatively light near I-95, the heavy snow rates could result in poor travel conditions Tuesday morning, especially farther north.
