Three people were found dead inside a home a Northampton Township home on Monday night following a barricade situation, police said.
Bucks Count investigators said, at 2:15 Monday afternoon Northampton Township Police responded to a single-family home in Churchville for a psychiatric emergency. Upon arrival at the home, on Heather Road and 2nd Street Pike they were confronted by an adult male armed with a knife.
The South Central Emergency Response Team responded to the scene and later took the suspect into custody, authorities said.

The case is currently being investigated by the Northampton Township Police Department and Bucks County Detectives.
The identities of the three people found dead and the man taken into custody have not been released as of publication time.
