Warminster Police Benevolent Association (PBA) members donated $1,850 to the Warminster Food Bank to help the organization purchase perishable items, meats, fruits, vegetables and other necessities for individuals and families in need in the counties of Bucks and Eastern Montgomery throughout the winter.

Kevin McLoughlin, Warminster Township Police Department. “The Warminster Police Benevolent Association is honored to support the Warminster Food Bank and the families they serve. We hope this donation helps ease some of the burden faced by residents during the winter months and reminds them that their community cares.”
The donation shows the strength of commitment of Warminster Township employees and volunteers who are helping out during a time of the year when food drives are especially meaningful. While the holiday season often inspires generosity, food bank officials said, winter brings additional challenges for those in need. Utility expenses can stretch limited resources, causing people to choose between utilities or food. In addition, cold weather and difficult travel conditions can make accessing food assistance even harder.
“The Warminster Police Benevolent Association’s support means a great deal to the people we serve,” said Mike Cerino, Executive Director, Warminster Food Bank. “This kind of local, neighbor-to-neighbor giving helps ease the stress families experience when they’re worried about putting food on the table. Especially in the winter months, donations like this allow us to continue providing food with dignity to members of our own community.”
The Warminster Food Bank serves residents of Warminster Township, and other towns in Bucks and Eastern Montgomery County by providing emergency food assistance and connecting individuals and families with additional community resources.
